School these days, a mix of play and practicalities. 

Beach has been doing a ton of writing, lists, letters, poems, cards, & short stories.  She found a few common words that she keeps messing up so she asked me to help her learn them somehow. Okay, how about Spelling Fish?  She gave her first 5 words & I gave her back some fish bowls with hints at the bottom for the part of the word she turns around. [*git* is a Utah problem]

Of course that Doing List is keeping us busy. We knew it needed to be flexible that why we used a push pin board.  Yesterday was supposed to be snow globes.  We hit the local thrift store for jars and small items to put inside but never got around to the making part.  

Mostly because while we were shopping Beach found a giant tub of tinker toys for $8.  Merry Christmas! She hasn't really stopped tinkering with them ever since.

There has been math, lots of games, puzzles, listening to Selective Shorts (NPR), watching NOVA, Nature, & The Price Is Right!, reading, playing in the snow, wrapping gifts, shopping, and rabbits.  Finally a half descent shot of the white rabbit Largo. 

We have a bit of winter cleaning & decluttering to do today before we get back to the Doing List. Looks like the snowman needs a spruce up too!
