We have certainty taken our own sweet time walking back to school.
The amazing part of the last 2 weeks is all the "normal" social/school-ish events Beach has had a chance to experience with her friends and teammates.
The top 5 were: back to school shopping at the mall, she got to help Sophie answer a boy back "Yes" to the Home Coming Dance (it's a big production around here), she went to a High School football game, she spent a day wandering through the Sugar House shopping district (no grown-ups), and she played night games.
We spent the weekend before last at Bear Lake, the one before that she was in Idaho with her dad and brother watching the solar eclipse from the zone of totality. We spent last week getting her Utah State Fair Entries ready and submitted.
And all that brings us to today the first real day of school. So I thought I would thrown down our first semester plans:

It a was slow start but we are up and rolling now!
