At the end of every practice, Team gathers to close the work day in a sharing circle.
It really is a beautiful moment which we Parents often forget to appreciate in the rush to get home, eat dinner (8pm!), homework, bedtime, etc. There is a lesser known, smaller circle of such usually follows- the after hours crowd.
Team girls waiting to be picked up by parents coming from all across the valley. Parents juggling soccer and dance, work and home.
And then there were 2.
One who missed her carpool (oops!) and the other waiting for her mom to get off shift at the front desk of the gym.
Sometimes, for no reason at all, life as it is, is simply lovely.
